Spring Editorial Session | Dallas Photographer

Ah, I’ve been dying to share this Spring Editorial session here on the blog!!!

We had the MOST fun setting up the studio for this vibe, with al the candles and books and flowers. I installed a sheet backdrop for a natural vibe and Sam absolutely met the look exactly with her whimsical dress & long beachy hair.

She said she wanted the Spring Editorial look, and I think we got it here at Silva Stills!

We started the session with her in an off-white peasant dress, and wild bouquet of flowers. We played around with fun shadows and light here in the studio. And made sure to incorporate Sam’s love of reading to the session. I love bringing personal elements into your shoots!

Next we transitioned to shooting next to the window, and Sam wore her favorite pair of jeans and a bouquet of roses. YEP, you read that right! Her top was flowers! I LOVE this vibe, and was so happy to create it with her. She also left a body positive love note in her pocket, and I captured it because I think it’s the perfect way to describe her vibe. I’m all for women who love their bodies, and love helping capture that here at Silva Stills!
