What does motherhood look like to you? For Courtney, it is looking like a QUEEN during this regal maternity session! Yes, she wore a stunning red velvet dress, and YES we had the most gorgeous natural setting to shoot in, but she brought so much grace and strength to this shoot — the vibe is truly all her!

We know sometimes you want a very special look for an occasion, without necessarily breaking the bank to get that one-time outfit! I gotta say, it’s way to much fun to go on a “shopping spree” in the closet with a new client! Cue the 90s music dressing room montage!

But back to this shoot though — it was an incredibly special session since I've gotten to photograph Courtney and her family from their engagements up to these maternity portraits and everything in between. As a Colorado portrait photographer, it’s so wonderful to follow a family’s journey over the years! This regal maternity session was just the next entry in the next chapter.
